Bilimkurgu yazarlari, bu yuzden, teknoloji insanlari cyborglara (sibernetik bio- organizmalara) cevirdiginde insanlik icin olusacak potansiyel krizi tahmin etmede parlak bir ongoruye sahiplerdir. William Gibson'in Neuromancer adli eserinde insan-sonrasi toplum, bilimkurgunun gosterdigi gibi, gunluk yasamda ustunluk (deneyustuculuk) icin destekleyici bir cevre sunmayacak ve biyonik teknoloji suphesiz matrix'deki kahraman Case'in yasadigi gibi yikici bir vekil yani yapay ustunluk sunacaktir. Keywords: William Gibson, Neuromancer, science fiction, cyborgs, cyberpunk.

Some characters in the novel, especially Case, have bimodal identities: a socially constructed dimension based on a merger with technology, and a potentially non-constructed dimension induced by the impact of cyberspace on consciousness, even though cyberspace only impacts the conceptual mind. Neuromancer blurs the distinction between humans and cyborgs or machines in terms of physical parameters, but not in terms of the spiritual, the internal observer as a void of conceptions, the defining core of humanity never accessible to computers or AI. Science fiction writers, therefore, have a clear insight based on their imagination of the potential crisis for humanity once technology transforms humans into cyborgs. Abstract : In William Gibson's Neuromancer, posthuman society, as science fiction demonstrates, will not provide a supportive environment for transcendence in daily life, and bionic technology will no doubt provide a devastating surrogate-artificial transcendence-as experienced by the hero Case in the matrix.
